MECL Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
- Candidate Indian National hona chahiye.
- Har post ki qualification alag hai (upar di gayi table dekhein) – 10th, ITI, Diploma, ya Degree.
- Sabhi essential/requisite qualifications ke liye minimum 45% qualifying marks zaroori hain (Direct Recruitment ke liye).
- Kuch posts (Technician Drilling, Electrician, Mechanic, Machinist, Junior Driver) ke liye relevant post-qualification experience bhi mangi gayi hai.
- Training/Internship/Articleship period ko experience nahi mana jayega, lekin ITI apprentices ke liye 1 saal ki National Apprenticeship Training ko experience mana jayega (19.02.2024 se effective).

MECL Selection Process 2026
Selection process 3 stages mein hoga:
- Stage 1 – Screening: Online applications ki eligibility screening ‘Eligible’ aur ‘Not Eligible’ ke basis par hogi.
- Stage 2 – Written Test (100% Weightage): Nagpur mein written test hoga. Cut-off: UR/OBC-NCL/EWS ke liye 50%, SC/ST ke liye 45%.
- Stage 3 – Document Verification: Merit list ke hisaab se 1:7 ratio mein candidates ko DV ke liye bulaya jayega.
